Young Tradition VT + the Instrument Petting Zoo

Mark Sustic and Young Tradition Vermont present three hours of family-friendly and educational musical experiences. This Vermont institution has been a part of New Year’s Eve in Burlington for years and we’re pleased to have them back.

 

1 – 2pm: Instrument Petting Zoo
2 – 3pm: Ava White, Merry Kimble, Annabelle Creech, Shannon Adams & Rachel Hebert
3 – 4pm: Romy & Ben Munkres
4pm: A drum circle is scheduled after the Young Tradition Vermont events.

A2VT: "Libraries Rock!" Music Series

Representing Somalia, Tanzania and Burundi and currently living in Burlington, Vermont, A2VT synthesizes their native African musical and dance roots with Western pop and Hip Hop sensibilities. Their songs, performed in up to eight unique languages, reflect their journey from Africa to America, and celebrate the musical collision of two continents and the party that ensues!
