This summer, FFL is embarking on a historic preservation construction project for our 1904 Carnegie building, which is on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
The Library will be open during regular hours all summer long!
This exterior work will address deteriorating windows, brick and terra cotta. Work will continue into late 2025.
As work moves around the Carnegie wing, specific areas of the library may close to the public for periods of time. Stay tuned to this page, or our Facebook & Instagram accounts for the latest updates. Updates are also included in our newsletter.
TEMPORARY CLOSURES:
-
Local History Room will be closed from Thursday, 7/17 through Tuesday, 7/22.
PROJECT UPDATES:
