Join us as we discuss how comics can be used to advocate for subjects relating to social justice and community education.
This hybrid panel (Burlington, VT and Tulsa, OK) examines three recent comics projects created from ethnographic and oral history interviews. From Oklahoma, the Chilocco Indian School explores experiences of elders who lived at the school as children.
Expect to be entertained with surprises, tricks, music and laughs. Recommended for ages 5 and up, but all are welcome.
