Join us for the Katherine Arden Book Club during the Green Mountain Book Festival. From 12:30-1:30pm in the Pickering Room, Katherine will answer questions and join in a discussion about her latest novel, The Warm Hands of Ghosts.
Courtesy of Phoenix Books, copies of the book are on hold at local participating libraries in the Burlington area, including the Fletcher Free Library, the South Burlington Public Library, Burnham Memorial Library in Colchester and Brownell Library in Essex Junction.
Join FFL Kids to paint pumpkins in true library style: inspired by picture books! Paint your own Pigeon pumpkin, Pete the Cat pumpkin, Very Hungry Caterpillar pumpkin...the possibilities are endless! Come with your own design in mind, or get inspired at the event.
Finished pumpkins will be displayed at the FFL Kids' Halloween party on Sunday, October 27, and can then be taken home.
Pumpkins and materials will be provided, along with some seasonal snacks. Special thanks to Lowes and Chapin Orchard!
Visit the library for indoor trick-or-treating, spooky (but not too spooky) storytimes, and drop-in crafts, games, and activities. Costumes encouraged!

Families are invited to talk, play, read, write and sing while exploring a range of themes and rotating activities designed to promote school readiness, encourage creativity, and healthy development.

Kids explore science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics activities. Open to children in Kindergarten-5th grade; no registration required.

Create your own poster for Burlington's Pride Parade on Sunday, September 8! This is a drop-in program, so please attend at any point during the two-hour duration.
