Please join us for a trip across the Continent with author and traveler Gerald Nicks.  Since retiring in 2011, Gerald Nicks has traveled extensively in thirty cities in nineteen countries in Europe.  His love of Europe and its culture has led to longer trips abroad.

In summer, 2016, he spent three months in Paris with his partner in crime, Janiece.  His most recent passion is sharing with others his excitement and love of Europe along with modern methods to travel there inexpensively – but not cheaply! While traveling, he developed his way to get the maximum bang for the minimum buck.

His book, My European Adventures, is a combination of a travel guide, a travel essay, and a photography coffee table book. It is chocked full of information on things to see and do in thirty cities in nineteen countries, it chronicles the author's experiences and adventures (sometimes misadventures), and it displays the beauty and majesty of Europe with 286 color photos.  The book shows the reader how to have the most authentic, memorable, and inexpensive traveling experience rather than a superficial, forgettable, and expensive tourist trip.
