Memoir: The Gift of Our Stories

Your story is precious—it’s also a living piece of history, a snapshot historians struggle to elucidate. You are a living social history, from your evolving hairstyles to your earned wisdom to the global events of your lifetime. I wish I could sit my grandmothers down and ask them—what was it like?  To be you? Why did you make the choices you did?  What were the challenges you faced, and what wisdom can you pass on?

In this 2 part workshop, we’re going to learn how to access those precious snapshots, and preserve them for future generations.

Tuesday, September 10 and Tuesday September 17, from 6pm-7:30pm.  For all levels of experience, beginners welcome.
