Enjoy your lunch on the Library lawn while taking in a performance of this classic tale, performed by local youth through Very Merry Theatre. Held indoors in case of rain. All ages, but recommended for ages 5 & up

Staff setup (in the event of rain): move MRR chairs and tables; set up 60 chairs in a curve facing window, right near Help Desk, leaving lots of space between window & chairs for performers & kids..

After 28 years as Librarian extraordinaire, Robert Resnik will be retiring in May.  He has served the Library and our community in so many ways: making Outreach deliveries from Burlington to Moss Point, Louisiana, singing and playing guitar for kids and seniors (buy Singalong CDs at the Main Desk!), retaining and sharing a deep knowledge of Burlington history (check out his recent book, Legendary Locals, as well as A Short History of Vermont’s Carn

ONE Band Concert: "Libraries Rock!" Music Series

The teenage musicians who play in the ONE Band (Old North End Neighborhood Band) perform the traditional music of Burlington, Vermont. The Old North End has always welcomed refugees and other immigrants. In the homes, street and social halls of our neighborhood the music of these groups rings out joyously and blends into a mix unique to our community. ONE Band’s student musicians study the music of immigrant groups past and present.
