Opening Reception for the Voices of St. Joseph's Orphanage exhibit.

The Fletcher Free Library will host the Voices of St. Joseph’s Orphanage Exhibition Display from January 9 through February 18, 2023, in the Fletcher Room on the third floor of the Library. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

The exhibition is presented by the St. Joseph’s Orphanage Restorative Inquiry and the Vermont Folklife Center. It tells the story of former orphans and their remarkable and enduring accomplishments.

Opening Statements and Welcome

Set up:  6 tables, u-shape with chairs

Hybrid equipment needed

A fun-filled storytime and lively count-down to 2023, complete with a confetti toss and sparkling cider toast at 12:00 pm (noon)! Snacks will be served. No pre-registration necessary; recommended for ages 2-6.

Show off your creativity and competitiveness by competing in our gingerbread house competition! Competitors will have one hour to create their gingerbread masterpieces. After the buzzer rings, voting will take place, and the house that has the most votes will win a prize. 

All materials will be provided. 

For ages 11-18.
