Classical Music Encounters

Introducing audiences to classical music through performance and commentary. Works by Bach, Mozart, Elgar, Glière, and more.

Hi there. We're Henry and Nathan Wu, graduating seniors at Essex High School from Essex Junction, Vermont, and collectively, we play the violin, cello, and piano. We are the co-founders of Classical Music Encounters. Classical Music Encounters aims to introduce diverse audiences to classical music through performance and commentary and showcase how its power and beauty can be used in our everyday lives. We held our first performance in the summer of 2018, and since then, we have performed at overtwenty Vermont libraries over the past two years and have greatly enjoyed meeting people, seeing local libraries, and supporting their mission of accessible education.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we've been unable to hold any in-person performances for the past three months, but that doesn't mean we can't share our music at all. In fact, we need music now more than ever to unite us. We would like to invite you to a live virtual performance on our Facebook page on Sunday, June 14, from 4 to 5:30 PM.
