Books for Children Gift Campaign 2024
Share the joy of reading with Burlington's
next generation of book lovers!
Gifts of new picture books for 3 or 4 year olds will be accepted from November 10 through December 15, 2024, to be distributed through Fletcher Free Library’s partner Head Start preschool programs and COTS Family Shelters.
- Books should be NEW picture books.
- Choose a book from our list of recommended titles, or make your own selections (as long as the books are appropriate for 3 or 4 year olds).
Crow Bookshop in Burlington and Phoenix Books in Essex and Burlington will offer a discount of 20% on all picture books purchased for this program, and will then hold them for the library to pick up and distribute.
You may also purchase new picture books from any other source and bring them to
the Fletcher Free Library's Main Branch (235 College Street) or New North End Branch (1127 North Avenue) by December 15, 2024.
