Join educator Carrie Cruz, aka The Planetarium Lady, for an indoor sky theater experience like no other at Fletcher Free Library! Step inside the traveling planetarium dome for an interactive and immersive presentation about eclipses, and prepare yourself for the extraordinary total solar eclipse we will experience on April 8th!

Experiment with watercolors with artist Florence McCloud in this 2 hour class for beginners and those wanting to have some fun with the medium.

In her book Marking Time: Art in the Age of Mass Incarceration, Nicole Fleetwood writes, “Prison art is part of the long history of captive people envisioning freedom—creating art, imagining worlds, and finding ways to resist and survive.”
