Ignite your mind with ways to make your world a better place!  Build & be creative while exploring architecture & engineering through books, games, puzzles & crafts at the Summer MegaMix activity table. Ages 4 & up.


Tinkering Tuesdays
Tuesdays, June 27, July 11, 18 & 25, 10:30 - noon
Activate your brain & creative energy to experiment with hands-on STEAM projects. Tinker with electrical circuits, gears, pulleys & more. Ages 8 & up. Preregistration preferred: 865-7216.

Building Bridges

Girls Code @ FFL
Wednesdays, July 12, 19, & 26 11 am - noon. Participants must be available for all three dates.
Learn beginner computer science principles. This program is designed to develop digital literacy & encourage young women to explore computer science as a career. Girls ages 8-12.  Preregistration required: 865-7216.


Extreme Book Giveaway
Thursday, July 13, 1 - 2pm 
Be captivated by interactive stories performed by a Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) storyteller, & take home your very own new book! Recommended for ages 5-10 (All welcome).

Cardboard Box Parade
Thursday, July 20, 1 - 3pm
Parade down Church Street with Library staff for this wild & fun annual Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront event. Come in costume as a better world builder or wear your Summer MegaMix t-shirt. Meet Library staff at the top of Church Street at 1:00pm to march to City Hall Park.  All ages.
